From a medical and scientific point of view, the incidence of musculoskeletal and joint pathology increases annually despite the improvement in diagnostic and treatment capabilities. This fact is due, to a great extent, to the increase in physical activity that is carried out at the present time both professionally and, especially, amateur. The knowledge and understanding of these injuries from all possible points of view (histology, physiology, anatomy, traumatology, sports medicine, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, rehabilitation …) is essential to properly address the treatment, in a most individualized and accurate way possible.
